ABOUT THE FOUNDER
"I started typing poems for strangers at events in 2016. I never stopped."
​When I was younger, I had a bad stutter. Writing became where I felt most at home.
​
What began as a way to express myself turned into a way to help others feel seen, understood, and a little less alone.
​
Ten years and 30,000+ poems later, The Novel Encounter has grown into a home for poetry, meaningful conversations, books and intentional living.
​
I'm glad you're here, good soul. I hope you stay a while.
